Punjab Pakora is a family business based in Ayrshire. The company is run by Kushal Duggal and his wife Vinita.

In 2012 Punjab Pakora officially launched from their small fish & chip shop on Crown Street, Ayr in Scotland. The first batch of pakora were delivered on 10th May 2012 to the local Asda Ayr store. Asda Ayr supply success led to Punjab Pakora being given extra stores to supply in Scotland. Success of the products in Scotland led to Kushal and Vinita to open their first fully functional Pakora factory in Ayr. Expansion of products took place, and 6 new products were successfully launched in Asda & Aldi. Also, a seasonal range launch took place due to greater customer demand. Iceland also launched the products throughout the UK. Business demand led to the opening of a 7000 square feet fully equipped manufacturing unit.

All their products are handmade by their experienced team at their Ayr factory. Products do not contain any harmful additives, preservatives or artificial colours. They source all ingredients from highly reputed suppliers and aim to use as many locally and ethical sources as possible.
In 2017, founder Vinita Duggal was invited to Parliament to meet key ministers as a leading UK Business, Products sampled to Ministers & Members of the house of commons. And in the same year, CO-OP Scotland launched our products throughout Scottish stores. Sainsbury’s Scotland contract deal successfully launched. Punjab Pakora are now one of the UK’s largest pakora manufacturers.
The product range includes; Red Chicken Pakora, Traditional Chicken Pakora, Haggis Pakora, Onion Pakora, Vegetable Pakora, Chicken Spring Rolls, Lamb Samosas, Chicken Jalfrezi Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala Curry.
Punjab Pakora products have used EAN-13 barcodes from Barcode1.co.uk since they started production in 2012. It’s wonderful to see how the business has developed in the past twelve years. They constantly try innovative new flavours such as Iron-Bru Pakora!
