  • Customised QR codes

Standard QR codes, although easily recognisable, can be an ugly part of product labelling or your design. We can make your QR code with colour and logos to match your brand image better.

If you have a good designer, they can modify the QR codes for you. However, this is often expensive, and sometimes, they can inadvertently damage the actual QR code so that it won’t scan.

We have dedicated designers that can provide custom QR code designs for you.

    This product includes;

    • a static or dynamic QR code (see below for the difference between static and dynamic)
    • QR code images design in 4 formats (SVG, eps, PDF and png)

In the comments box on the checkout page, tell us about your company’s brand and how you will be using the QR code. Let us know the colours you want. Please email us your logo as a PNG or JPEG file. Then, our designers can create a custom QR code for you.

    Price: £24

Any extra design time is  £12 per hour.

This example shows the same QR code in original and customised versions.

The changes we can make to a QR code are limited. The overriding aim is to maintain its ability to be scanned. We can introduce two colours (with gradients), add a custom logo to the centre, and alter the QR code’s foreground elements.

For all customization options, see here.

    Call to Action

We can add a Call to Action such as ‘Buy Now’ or “Subscribe’.

    Dynamic or Static?

    STATIC QR Codes
Static QR codes encode your URL directly in the QR code. They are fixed and work as long as your website URL doesn’t change.  They have unlimited scans. Static QR codes can also be used for things other than URLs, e.g. encoding text, sending an email or SMS messages.

    DYNAMIC QR Codes
These use our Dynamic QR Code service, which enables the target URL to be changed repeatedly in the future if required.

Unlimited scans: Scans of the Dynamic QR Code are UNLIMITED so long as you don’t abuse the QR code with millions of scans that cause technical problems such as crashed servers.

Functions for life: Functions for two years and will continue to function after that for a hosting fee of £15 every two years.

FREE Unlimited redirection: When you make an initial purchase, you specify a target URL. You can redirect the target URL via our customer portal as often as you want.

Custom Tracking Reports: Order TRACKING REPORTS. The price depends on frequency, the complexity of reports, and how many QR Codes are being tracked. Please enquire for details.

Here are some of our customised QR Codes below.

  • Pallet Barcodes                          pallets

Pallet barcodes identify pallet deliveries in warehouses. Hence if you are not sending products by pallet, you won’t need them. However, you may need an ITF-14 carton code instead.

Pallet barcodes tend to be required only by larger retailers, specifically supermarkets or any other company using a large distribution centre such as Mcdonalds’.

Pallet barcodes are normally needed as a pair of barcodes;  a GS128 and an SSCC. The GS128 holds data such as batch number, best-before date etc., and the SSCC  is a unique number. This is so each pallet can be identified by a retailer or distribution centre.

Sometimes you may just need a new SSCC for a new pallet, as you already have the GS128 barcode for that stock.

The GS128 barcode encodes multiple data such as expiry dates, batch number, quantity, as well as EAN or UPC number for a product.

Images below show examples of GS128 (top) and SSCC (bottom)

Work out how many you need. Purchase the quantity you want, and we will send you an email with an online form to input the data you want encoded. Once you have provided the required information, we will send the barcode images to you in 5 formats (tif, bmp, jpg, pdf & eps formats). We can provide additional formats upon request.

    Quantity Price per barcode
    1 £ 15
    2 £ 12
    3 £ 10
    4 + £ 8

    Application Identifiers (AI)

GS1 Application Identifiers (AIs) are numeric prefixes used in barcodes and EPC/RFID tags to define the meaning and format of encoded data elements.

Some of the most commonly used  AIs are:

    00 – SSCC

    01 – GTIN

    10 – Batch number

    17 – Expiry date

37 – Number of Units (Count)
